Is is expected that when I use a sparse data column for the marker size, that all the markers which do not have any data on this “size” column are hidden?

Yes, this is by design. Perhaps there could be an option to show a “cross” marker in such cases. In my experience with previous platforms this was never an issue with users, but such an option might make sense. Please advise if you think this is important to your use case this year.
yes, maybe the current behavior is expected and I’m also not sure what a good way would be to indicate the markers with missing data for the “size” column.
