I guess the popped-up sidebar should cancel the drop-down or overlap it.
Thanks for the report! Probably the sidebar should not be popping up when this menu is opened. I see that it can get irritating when you work with the minimized sidebar and miss the menu by a few pixels. Ever since the pandemic started I always worked on big monitors, so there was no need to ever hide the sidebar
